Milling School kicks off: 160 hours to train qualified personnel

After the success of the course for welders, which found employment for 70 percent of the participants, Confapi Industria Piacenza, thanks to its training organization Pminforma, decided to start a new project: The School for Millers.

Giuseppe Ballotta, owner of Ares and a board member of Confapindustria Piacenza, explains the project:
“Like the course for welders, this project also stems from companies’ need for qualified personnel to be on staff.
The Milling School will kick off in early March. There will be 160 hours of classes: a drawing reading part and a theoretical-practical milling part with the Heidenhain CNC (one of the most widely used machine tool controls). In the coming months, Confapindustria Piacenza will develop more courses to cover the other programs as well.”

The many collaborations have allowed us to recover funds to support course costs, reducing the economic impact.

Recruitment of candidates by the Kelly Services branch is still open, as are applications from companies.
